The Maya Indie Film Series is about more than filling theaters. It's about bringing together the film and Latino communities across the U.S. to support, engage with, and evangelize Latino film from around the world. To do all this, Maya would need more than a simple ticket-buying website. They would need to get people talking, both online and on-the-go.
Our top-to-bottom online marketing campaign combined a polished, easy-to-navigate website, interactive banner ads, social strategy, and mobile applications. We helped identify the influential voices and niche communities to whom The Maya Indie Film Series would appeal, and crafted strategies for reaching out to and engaging each. All of this was combined with mobile platforms like smartphone apps and out-of-home digital advertising, so in the end we showed Maya how to create a whole new group of brand evangelists who would help spread the word.
